Development

We have also developed our own innovative projects from the outset.

Examples:

  • the first photovoltaic system on a [nodepicker==node/164==Noise%20barriers%20%E2%80%93%20%C2%ABPower%20instead%20of%20noise%C2%BB==highway%20noise%20barrier] in 1989 
  •  planning the world’s first [nodepicker==node/167==Solars%20power%20exchange==solar%20power%20exchange] (ewz, Elektrizitätswerk Zürich) using [nodepicker==node/165==Bifacial%20cells==bifacial%20technology] (two-sided solar cells) as a noise barrier alongside roads and rail track (European patent) 
  • first national building renovation program by the Swiss federal government as part of Energie2000: TNC was responsible for process development and implementation from 1997 to 2000
