As a PV engineer, he will undertake the planning, execution and operation of PV systems as well as cost optimization, analysis of operating costs, performance and yield of PV systems. For ASTRA, he has determined the application potential of photovoltaics on noise barriers along the Swiss motorway network.
He is responsible for the metrological investigation of 800 Swiss photovoltaic plants on yield and efficiency (PR) within the framework of IEA PVPS Task 13.
Thomas Vontobel is also the founding shareholder and advisory board of ZSSAG.
